The Gran Fondo Giro d'Italia Ride Like A Pro Tenerife event (hereinafter, the “Event”) is organized by Unidad Editorial Sports&Events, S.L.U., with registered office at Avenida de San Luis, 25, 28033 Madrid (hereinafter, “Unidad Editorial”), which will be responsible for processing the personal data that you provide when registering for the Event, which will be used for the purposes indicated below:
- Manage and control your registration to the Event.
- Provide you with information in relation to the Event and carry out, where appropriate, the necessary steps to allow your registration and attendance or follow-up.
The legitimacy for these personal data processing purposes is the execution of the contract in which the user is a party, that is, for the maintenance, fulfillment, development, control and execution of the contractual relationship established with Unidad Editorial.
- The sending (by any means, including electronic means) of commercial communications by Unidad Editorial about its own products and services, similar to those that you have contracted previously.
The legitimacy for this purpose of processing your data is (i) article 21.2 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on services of the information society and electronic commerce, when the shipment is carried out by electronic media; and (ii) the legitimate interest of Unidad Editorial to keep its clients informed about its products and services, when it is done by non-electronic means.
- Capture of images and videos during the celebration of the Event for its dissemination through electronic and non-electronic means.
In the case of general shots and ambient sound, the treatment will be based on the legitimate interest of Unidad Editorial to improve its promotional activities; For its part, in the event that shots are captured in which the attendees can be directly recognized –eg. close-ups-, the legal basis will be the consent given in case of posing for the image.
- Additionally, if you provide it, we will process data related to the allergies you suffer, in order to avoid or, where appropriate, manage any type of incident in this regard during the Event.
The basis of legitimacy for this purpose of processing your data is your consent granted when providing the data in the registration form for the Event for the indicated purpose.
RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
In some cases, it is necessary for us to communicate personal data to companies that provide us with marketing and event organization services, with whom we outsource certain services related to the data processing that we carry out and that are configured as in charge of processing the Unidad Editorial. In these cases, we ensure that said third parties comply with the regulations on the protection of personal data and we sign the corresponding contract in charge of the treatment.
We will communicate your personal data to third-party companies when it is necessary for the fulfillment, development, control and execution of the contractual relationship established between you and Unidad Editorial, for example, the owners of the spaces in which the Event will take place. has registered, if any. No data transfers to third countries or international organizations are envisaged.
CONSERVATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for the execution of the contractual relationship between you and Unidad Editorial; as well as to send you, by any means, including electronic means, commercial communications about products and services owned by Unidad Editorial and similar to those that you have contracted previously, as long as you do not exercise your right to suppress, oppose or limit the treatment. Additionally, your data processed on the basis of your consent will be kept as long as you do not withdraw said consent.
Once the above periods have elapsed, we will keep your data, duly blocked, during the prescription periods of the legal obligations of the Unidad Editorial and the possible responsibilities derived from the processing of said data.
